Prior to stripping, it is important to know that each stripping project is unique and the product’s responsiveness and waiting period will vary based on the surface to be stripped.

Q: Which product neutralize the Super Remover?
A: The Super Remover can be neutralized with water. Water and methyl hydrate can be used as a cleaner after stripping.

Q: Is Super Remover water based as it can be neutralized with water?
A: No, the Super Remover is solvent based and doesn’t contain water. See SDS for more details

Q: What is the ideal temperature to strip?
A: The ideal temperature to strip is between 10 °C to 25 °C.

Q: What are the best conditions to strip outside?
A: We suggest a cloudy day with no wind. Do not strip when it rains because the Super Remover can be neutralized with water.

Q: Is it possible to strip inside?
A: Yes, you can strip inside as long as it’s in a well ventilated room.

Q: How can I strip a vertical surface as easily as possible?
A: To facilitate the stripping of a vertical surface, put a closed container of Super Remover in the refrigerator for an hour prior to the application. It will increase the viscosity of the product which will facilitate the adhesion to the surface to be stripped.

Q: How many liters of Super Remover does it take per square feet?
A: It will cover between 30 to 100 s.f. per gallon. Many factors like the type of surface, the porosity, the coating to be removed, etc. will influence the surface covered.

Q: On which surfaces the Super Remover cannot be used?
A: It is not recommended to use the Super Remover on fiberglass, acrylic and plastics as it can damage the material.

Q: How can I clean brushes having Super Remover product?
A: You can clean brushes by rinsing with water. However, be careful not to clean your brushes in a sink or a bath made of acrylic because the Super Remover can damage your sink or your bath.

Q: What products should I use to clean the surface after stripping?
A: A humid rag is sufficient to clean the surface or you can used methyl hydrate in the case of a wooden furniture.
